They say the toughest part of climbing a mountain is when you’re right near the top.

There’s actually a statistic that tends to confirm that theory… it’s the fact that most people quit a marathon after they’ve already completed 80% of the course!

Whether it’s a grueling physical event or starting a new online business, the place where it’s easiest to give up is when you can no longer see where you began — or spot a finish line anywhere in the distance.

The biggest battle isn’t necessarily against time, money or bureaucracy — It can be against yourself! Your attitude can definitely dictate how well you do — and how effective you are — in your daily tasks.

Here are a few things to consider

Are you expecting everything to happen immediately?

This can happen a lot if you watch too many TV commercials. Everyone gets what they want in thirty seconds on those — but as we all know, life’s just a wee bit different.

Trying to make everything happen immediately just leads to frustration and mistakes. Take things step by step — and you’ll eventually get to where you want to go.

Do you think nothing will ever work?

You could fill several libraries with books about ‘The Power of Positive Thinking’ — but it’s more than just a cliché. How you approach your online business — or any life challenge for that matter — can mean the difference between failure or success.

When you hit an obstacle, know that it’s temporary. You’ll get through it if you dedicate your time to finding an answer rather than focusing on the problem.

Are you doing too many things at once?

It’s so easy to become a victim of information and work overload when you first start your online business.

There is so much you feel you need to learn and to do. More, I suspect, than you ever expected to have to deal with. This is where you need to focus, plan, schedule and prioritize.

Concentrate on tasks in their order of importance, and make sure you have enough time to finish them. Let’s face it — we all have days where we can’t seem to catch up or get anything done. But if that’s the case every day, then you need to take a good hard look at how you’re doing things.

Do you always have an excuse?

Yes there are those of us who try to do too much, and let’s face it, there are those of us who don’t do enough. It may be fun to see what we can get away with in a regular job — but just remember, when you’re the boss in your own business, you’re only cheating yourself!

Always remember… it takes time, dedication and persistence to build a long-term successful business. Yes, you sometimes need to work like a crazy person, but you also need to take regular breaks from the day-to-day grind. Going too far in either direction can just lead to failure.

Just pace yourself and you’ll make it all the way to the top!

If you either work online or have been looking for an online business opportunity, then I’m sure that you’ve seen a lot of talk about PLR products – it’s a pretty hot topic lately!

But, you might be wondering… what exactly is PLR?

PLR stands for Private Label Rights, and they are products that can give online business owners a much easier life!

To put it simply, a PLR product is created by someone else who allows you to alter it as much as you wish and then claim it as your own.

There are different types of PLR products such as software and videos, but the most popular is PLR content such as:

Articles

Ebooks

Reports

eCourses

Product Reviews

PLR content is usually bundled into niche related packs such as ‘Home Schooling’ or ‘Weight Loss’ and sold in individual packages or as part of a membership site. They can be a HUGE time-saver for any online business owner.

For instance, say you have a website that sells weight loss products. You could purchase a pack of articles on ways to reduce fat in your diet. You now have the opportunity to create content that is tailor-made for your website or blog, turn them into an autoresponder course, or put together a special report or newsletter.

This is a whole lot quicker and easier than if you had to write the whole thing yourself from scratch.

Using private label rights products correctly can give your online business the ideal opportunity to draw in more visitors with a lot less effort, leaving you more time to concentrate on other parts of your business.

I used the term “correctly” because as with everything, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do things, and knowing the right way to use PLR products can make you a whole lot of money

John Thornhill is a highly successful online marketer, he’s also my personal coach and mentor – it wasn’t until I met John that things really started to happen for me. Not only is John a leading expert in his field who makes hundreds of thousands of dollars each year – but he is also one of the nicest and most honest men you could wish to meet.

His easy step-by-step training methods using videos and checklists almost make you feel as though he’s right there in the room with you.

That’s why I knew that when John says his new product Profit From PLR will “show all you need to know about profiting from PLR content” then it wouldn’t disappoint, but even I was blown away when I saw the quality of the product and the price that he is asking for it.

First thing you should understand is that this is NOT an ebook! This is a complete step-by-step home study video course that will guide you through the whole process one day at a time.

If you’re at all interested in profiting from PLR content I highly recommend you check this out.

You MUST Know Your Rights as a PLR Buyer.

When you purchase any PLR product you simply must check out the rights that come with each package.

While Private Label Rights means that you are permitted to rewrite the content and claim authorship, most PLR comes with a list of rules telling you the things you can and can’t do with it.

For instance, you may find that while you’re able to post the content on your website or blog, you’re not allowed to give it away for free in its current state – to do this you may have to totally re-write it – or hire a ghostwriter to re-write it for you. Always make sure that you read and follow the rules.

Just having new content for your website or blog alone makes PLR very valuable to online business owners. It can save an enormous amount of time and allow you to easily provide great content for your readers on a regular basis.

One of the first things I recommend you do when you’re trying to set up an online business is to keep a business journal.

I remember back in the early days when I was first advised to do this, how I immediately made excuses as to why I couldn’t.

I said things like ” I can’t, I don’t have enough time” and “I don’t know what to write”

But I persevered, and now it’s almost second nature to journal my thoughts at the end of each working day.

By keeping a business journal, I was able to stay focused on the job in hand, and on what I needed to do next.

Not only that, but on the days that I struggled and felt like giving up (we all have those days) I was able to pick up my journal and read the earliest entries. That made me realize how far I had come and how much I had learned — and that completely fired my confidence back up, enabling me to continue to move forward once again.

Keeping a business journal was, and still is, an important part of my online business, it makes me think more deeply about the actions that I take each day and about my future goals.

If you’re serious about you’re online business success then make the decision to start writing today — I’m sure you’ll find it’s well worth the effort.

Like most people who make an attempt at internet marketing, when I first started I spent thousands of dollars searching for the elusive products that were going to lead me up that sure-fire path to success.

Now that I think of it, I’m sure that paying for professional coaching actually SAVED me money in the long term as it made me put my credit card away and focus on the job at hand — building an internet marketing business that worked.

As with any trade, there are always tools and products that are required, and Internet Marketing is no exception — there are some things that are absolutely necessary and others that are well worth paying for, just for the benefits they provide.

I’ve had the opportunity to try out a lot of online business sites and products, most of which are now gathering dust on my hard drive, but some I just couldn’t be without.

It was hard to know the difference when I was just starting out in internet marketing.

Now I’d like to give you the benefit of my experience, and tell you, from my prospective, just which products and services made a big difference for me…

In some of my future blogs, I’ll be drawing on that personal experience and sharing with you the best of the products that I’ve either used or continue to use… they won’t be mentioned unless I’m completely satisfied with what they provided.

I don’t write about what I don’t honestly think works.

So be sure to join my list and I’ll can keep you informed of any future postings — and hopefully, you’ll get some useful information out of this!

When I first decided to enter the world of Internet Marketing I had no idea what lay ahead. I clearly remember the feelings of confusion and frustration I experienced in the early days.

I understand how complicated and intimidating it is to navigate your way through the mass of information that’s available online. Thats why I decided that if I truly wanted to be successful, I had to get help from people who had already succeeded themselves.

So, I paid my money, followed their programmes, completed the assignments — and here I am today.

My coaches taught me to focus, to take it one step at a time, and when I felt like giving up, they were there to support me…they were, and still are, invaluable as we now continue to work together.

That said, before you decide to take advantage of any coaching program, make sure you do your research and choose the right fit for you.

Ask the questions…

Has the person who is offering the coaching achieved their own success?

Will you have one-on-one access to the expert themselves?

How long is the course?

What exactly will it help you to achieve? … A ‘How To Sell On eBay” course is no good if you want to learn the ins and outs of affiliate marketing.

How much time will you need to commit each day to complete the program. Be warned… you must be prepared to work hard!

Will there be further costs and if so, approx how much? (eg. Domain name, hosting or other necessary costs)

Will you receive ongoing support once the program is complete?

Coaches can help you in the right direction — but, just like anything else, you have to make sure that the coach you pick is the right pick for you.
